Flange depth controller
The Denz Flange Depth Controller "FDC" is a new development for the flange depth control of digital video cameras with PL-mount.
The determination of the flange depth is based on the cross-fading principle. By means of two lenses two different masks will be projected on the CCD-chip. By turning the adjustment wheel the focal position of the Flange Depth Controller to the CCD will be changed. This adjusting of the focal position effects a moving of the projected masks to the CCD. When the position of the red bar is exactly between the two green bars you can read out the precise flange depth on the scale of the adjustment wheel.
